WEEKEND SPECIAL 07242010: OAKWOOD BREAKFAST

Posted by AC on Monday Jul 26, 2010

If you think Noelle’s birthday celebration has already ended, you got it all wrong. Since she’s my supahfwend, the adventures and treats for her birthday hasn’t stopped yet… everything should be special, coz she’s one special friend. We had to make her happy on her WEEK (yes, that’s how we celebrate birthdays in our barkada), as what we promised her.

Last Saturday, we treated her to a breakfast buffet at Oakwood in Ortigas. Oooops, it wasn’t really a treat (in it’s truest sense) coz we got the GCs from Che.. hahaha! That’s one of the perks we get from having a “bossing” for a bestfriend. We got 4 vouchers and we used it (and literally made the most of this free stuff)

I’ve been to buffet breakfast in several hotels in the metro but this one’s awesome. They have a wide array of food to choose from, not just American cuisine but a fusion of everything.. some kind of international. I just noticed something: no scrambled eggs. It was kinda odd coz I believe breakfast isn’t complete without fried egg, be it scrambled or sunny side up. But everything that I ate was superb. My friends said they liked the eggplant chorva (don’t know the name.. sorry :P ), too bad I wasn’t able to taste it.

I wasn’t able to take shots of the buffet table coz I was shy (yes, mahiyain din pala ako.. mejo lang, kapag ganitong pagkakataon na nangangati ako coz jologs lang ako talaga.. hahaha! ) But we had picture taking at our table.

basta libre -- MASARAP. LOL.

kunwari stolen

My food..

PG

no dressing (yes, weird ako)

I love fruits!

Then kulitan portion…

uyyy.. siryus silang dalawa!

GOT MILK? bwahahhaha!

ayyyy... bastush!

weh ang liit ng sayo! :P

After our breakfast, we proceeded to their bar (not to drink alcohol coz we still got other activities for the day), we just had a quick peek..

aaaahhhhhlaaaaakkk!!! tsalap oh! :P

We left Oakwood with big smiles on our face coz we really love to eat (diba obvious sa mga katawan namin?). All the more if the food’s yummy… and free. Haha!

IT WON’T LET YOU DOWN

SCRAMBLED EGGS

Posted by AC on Friday Apr 16, 2010

This morning before I started my daily routine at work, I dropped by the cafe located at the 10th floor of the buildingĀ  to grab a bite to eat as I was starving to death. My last real meal was lunch the day before.

I love breakfast meals. In fact, I enjoy dining at restos/food chains that serve breakfast meal all day long. So, when I saw that there were still breakfast meals at the cafe, I ordered for some and planned to eat at the office pantry.

I was excited to eat (and so were the baby alligators in my tummy) with a big smile for the cafeteria’s server until we had a little misunderstanding…

AC: Ate, yung Swedish sausage tapos fried rice. May egg pa?
Staff: Meron po. Magpapaluto.

I thought the booboo ends there until I saw her putting a cup of plain rice in the styro.

Right there and then I debunked the old saying “customer is always right:lol:

STUPID QUESTION

Posted by AC on Tuesday Apr 6, 2010

**Taken last Sunday, 4.4.2010 (my nephew’s birthday party at Jollibee Greenmeadows)

READ MY SHIRT

Posted by AC on Sunday Mar 14, 2010

A lot of people wonder if I am, or I am not.

Here is the answer:

I’m just getting bigger and bigger, but not pregnant. Just “happy fats”. :)

PS: Don’t mind those “panda eyes” and untamed hair. That’s normal.

RALPH & HEILYN’s WEDDING — THE NUISANCE GUEST

Posted by AC on Thursday Mar 4, 2010

This morning, I came across Ralph’s (the groom) wedding album from their official photographer and saw our pictures with our HS barkada. I looked at them one by one and here is something that made my day..

Lahat sila ay seryoso, samantalang ako ay…..

Wala lang, ang cute ko noh? Hahahaha…

Tsktsk.

Panira ako ng moment. Packing sheet.

ANIMATED POPOY & BASHA

Posted by AC on Monday Feb 15, 2010

One of my favorite Pinoy films of all time, One More Chance, goes animated.

This is soooo cute. Watch nyo. :)

I just saw this on my friend’s Facebook wall then searched it on Youtube, it was posted by a certain grandevouz. I’d love to give credits to whoever did this, but I don’t know who he is. Thanks for sharing, whoever you are. :)
